Meet Dr. Adornato
Ann Marie Adornato, DMD, MSD
Dr. Ann Marie Adornato, has strong ties within the Syracuse and Central New York community. She is the youngest of 10 children. Her father was a prominent and well-respected Neurosurgeon in Syracuse. She is happy to call Central New York her home.
After graduating from Jamesville-Dewitt High School, Ann Marie went on to the State University of New York at Buffalo where she graduated Cum Laude in Biological Sciences. Upon graduation, she was accepted into the prestigious Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where she graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Thereafter, she moved to Chicago and successfully completed her General Practice Residency to gain advanced training in General Dentistry and Dental Implants.
After leaving Chicago, she returned to New York and practiced as a General Dentist for 4 years in New Hartford and New York City. However, wanting to fulfill her lifelong dream of completing advanced studies, she returned to Case Western Reserve University for her Periodontal Surgery Residency. She graduated with her Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in 2016. Other notable accolades during her residency included being elected as Chief Resident of her class and completing her master thesis on the effects of electronic cigarettes on oral health.
Dr. Adornato believes in continual education to stay abreast with the current advances and techniques in periodontics.
Dr. Adornato is very honored and happy to be back in her hometown to serve the community that she loves and cherishes. She looks forward to treating individuals and their families. She resides in Manlius with her husband Philip, and three children along with her chocolate lab “Mocha”. Upon her spare time, she and her family enjoy travel, and exploring the many attractions across Upstate and Central New York.
